    but this is too risky to set all directories permissions to 777 :)

    Done : all directories and files have CHMOD 777 but nothing changed (http://starlines2.lima-city.de/install.php)

    guess admins only can resolve this problem or i should send a support ticket

    dont think so, same script was working great before on lima-city i am using lima-city service's since long time and i didnt have any issue installing or using my script

    but i think they changed something on their file system and that has generated this problem

    And i am sure they will fix it soon when they will know about it because they always do :D

    by the way all pages has the same problem when i click links nothing change just the same page keep reloading :(

    Since few days a strange problem appears on my website, when i click on links nothing happens the page keep reloading then the same url loaded ?

    for example this page : http://starlines2.lima-city.de/install.php

    when io click on "click here to install the script" nothing happens and i dont get the next page :( by the way everything was ok before this problem appeared since few days only

    please need your help my friends how to fix this problem

    But should i send a support ticket everytime i want to delet my root directory or just this time :) i was deleting files via an FTP client before and everything was working great i hope the problem is just temporarily

    no the ftp in lima-city is great just some times there are some prolems and that problem i got i know that its an issue from yesterday downtime and i guess the admins are working to fixe it because ftp feature is not working right now :

    nope the zip-file itself is fine and no problem with it, the problem is in the filemanager of lima-city since last downtime of yesterday.

    when i uplad the file via ftp client i got this error problem :

    some files can be uploaded by the ftp client and some others not, and also the files are not uploaded correctly.

    Did your page ever work well, or is this a problem you had the whole time? If your page worked well and you didn't change anything and now doesn't work, I think you have to write a Ticket because it seems to be a problem of the webspace.

    No my website it was working before the last server transfer, but suddenly whene lima-city admin has transfer the server to a new one i discovered that my website wont to open or it take a long time to load and somtimes i see just an empty page.

    Whene i try to re-install my script in a new database it works like you can see now starlines2.lima-city.de but its a bit slow, but whene i try to import and restor the old database that i have before the last server transfer i get that error message : 504 Gateway Time-out

    can that be a conflict between the old database configuration and the one of the new server like encoding issue ?

    I have tried my website in too many webhosting like x10hosting.com and with my old database from lima-city and it works fine and fast http://starlines2.x10.mx but i dont want to change my best webhosting lima-city

    I hope the lima-city admin and owner will help me because i send a reply in my old support ticket and i am waiting for an answer

    i guess you are right the aloow_url_fopen now is off, and that fonction allow the HTTP connection and requests.

    but user_agent is to determinate the browser of the user (MIE, FireFox,...etc), the ip you have 2 choices "HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR" and "REMOTE_ADDR", and you can check in the phpinfo() of lima-city you will find that the " HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR" is not right, because the the localhost ip is always add to the user ip. so "REMOTE_ADDR" is the only choice for you in lima-city.

    whene i was trying to use an FTPclient today to upload and edit some files i find that the FTP software can't connect to lima-city server, i tried also a web based FTP and it doesn't work too. and it is just lima-city other server works for me, and it's just for today befor it was working fine ?

    so is that just a temporarily issue or it is just happening to me ?

    Yeah of course the 3D is an old idea, and many companies has attempted to launch this technology, but now i guess all TVs companies focus their efforts in 3D technology, and movies like "AVATAR" gives them the incentive to invest in this technology. but i hope that the glasses will be not necessary in the futur to watch 3D films or to play a 3D games or any 3D stuffs in the futur.

MINI has the best Marketing compaign in car market, very brilliant ideas, and like you said it makes MINI in your mind. and MINI has starts to be famous in the world i guess by the movies such "Italian Job" and "bourn identity" and some other films. like Audi did with "The transporter", But MINI still the leader in the marketing, and it's a very good exampl in such things.

    Well...the anteractive billboard in hamburg is an other new and very excellent idea from this company, and i guess everyone now want to pick his phone and try those numbers and watch the S&M whip dangling over the rear of a Cooper. :biggrin:

    I am sure that no one can deny the great success of the excellent movie “Avatar”: the James Cameron’s 3D blockbuster, now the highest grossing movie of all time, has fueled the growing frenzy for 3D TV. and mainly because of this movie, recently there has been a lot of hype regarding the new HD/3D TVs now available at most electronics stores in many countries around the world, this 3D movie that embraces the spectator/user with bright and vibrant 3D quality imagery,

    while still in its infancy, the 3D TV is still a few years away from having everything fall into place, but with experience, and great directors like James Cameron and big entertainement companies like 20th Century Fox, and many investments i predict the HD/3D to be the next big thing in ‘must have’ technology. Aside from the Apple iPad of course.

    but when we ask anybody right now: Are you considering buying a 3D/HD TV?, probably he will answer's that these Tv's are very expensive. but What would be your answer ? :biggrin:

    Don't be silly. This is advertising and marketing. There is no uniqe "tomorrow". Different places invent different things. Apple did not invent the internet nor did it invent UNIX. It is absolutely fine to share good ideas over different platforms but Apple is definitely not the only place to look for the future.


    So you dont think that Apple allows that the computer technology Progress make a fast step to the futur, so what about Ipad ? and i am sure you know that a German company "Neofonie" invents a similar device named WePad to rival iPad.

    So, how far in the future is "very soon" then? When will you waste your money on a Mac?

    i guess it's in the few next months, now i just brought a new Mobile, and it cost me too much :biggrin:

    these two great OS dominate the majority of the market. without forgetting the the great Ubuntu too ;-).

    And each one has his own reasons to choose which OS he prefers, and it can be because of the Best performance, Flexibility, Design, popularity, compatibility and you can easy find compatible softwares...etc

    I love my PC with Windows 7. Not a single problem running it, it does all I want, it is fast, and now i am totally satisfied…i am not sure that it is best then a Mac because i never tried one, but i am sure that it is better than Vista, my old OS :biggrin:.

    but i will buy a Mac laptop very soon, just to know if it's real what Apple say :
    "If you want to see tomorrows PC all you have to do is look at todays MAC"


    but right now I’ll stick with my Windows7 :thumb:

    And the battle between Windows7 and Mac still running, and the number of users of these two great OS is is growing everyday.

    zum Beispiel: 1DVD kostet 20 € +!

    Daher bevorzugen Sie zur Bestellung die meisten DVDs aus dem Internet, weil sie dort billiger sind als bei Comic Shops etc ?



    Wie viel würdet ihr maximal für Anime-DVDs ausgeben?

    Im Juni erscheint ein 3D-Firmware-Update für Sonys PS3, das für kommende 3D-Spiele benötigt wird. Allerdings wird dieses Update keine 3D-Blu-Ray-Filme unterstützen.     Allerdings sei es nicht ausgeschlossen, dass Sony eine Firmware veröffentlicht, welche die PS3 kompatibel für 3D-Blu-Rays machen wird. Damit sei aber erst in der zweiten Jahreshälfte zu rechnen.

    Zukünftig erwarten uns viele 3D-Spiele, die ihren Weg auf Sonys Heimkonsole finden. Darunter sind auch schon veröffentlichte Games wie Batman Arkham Asylum, WipEout HD, Pain, Super Stardust HD und Motorstorm 2 - Pacific Rift.

Angesprochen auf inoffizielle Gerüchte einer PS3-Version, die bereits die Runde machten, antwortete Béland: "Wir müssen einfach abwarten welche Entscheidungen das Management von Ubisoft künftig tätigen wird." Eine Zusammenarbeit mit Sony wäre für die Splinter Cell-Reihe nicht neu, so wurde beispielsweise 2007 Splinter Cell Double Agent für die PS3 umgesetzt.
